I am a BIG believer in eating organic as much as possible in this economic depression we live in today, and sustainable farming practices. I have seen over the last few years a drastic change in our food culture and the movement toward sustainable living and organic growing and eating. We have seen the destruction of our food chain, the continued ignorance/use of harmful toxic chemicals, pesticides and high levels of growth hormones and insecticides on factory farms and feed lots, so our food is literally non-edible!! I was also wondering about your comments on the DDT that has been used on the crops and soil over the past decades and still in use today although I think people are waking up and eventually will be banned in the US, but meanwhile, our honey bees are dying off and I was thinking about what I heard on TV the other day? They were saying that our bee population was dying off and didn't know why?? MMmmm? How strange? Gee I wonder if they consider all the pesticides being sprayed on our land? (DDT) They said the actual genetic make-up of the bee was being changed? WOW! BIG money(corruption) is in the way of possibly putting our honey bee on the endangered species list?
